Our Creams Mill and Hall Lane development with Watson for the redevelopment of sites in Little Lever has recently been granted planning permission. The scheme will deliver 255 homes for the area as well as providing other significant regeneration benefits such as extensive woodland walks and the repair of a section of canal where a breach occurred in 1936, which will mean that this stretch of canal will be returned to water as part of the development.
Having originally been refused planning permission by the local planning authority, the planning inspector found at appeal that the scheme “would be of suitable high design quality and appropriate to the landscape setting.” It also provides 154 affordable homes which will make a very significant contribution to addressing the acute level of need for affordable homes in the area.
We are of course delighted by this decision and looking forward to working with the rest of the team, such as Watson, P4 Planning Limited, Enzygo and Elluc Projects, to bring this exciting project to reality in the not-too-distant future!
